Everal and I first "bumped" into each other on our first day at our new place of employment.  It was August 21, 1989 and Ev was joining the mailroom and I was to begin as the W.P. Supervisor of a major law firm's New York office.  Sidley & Austin would become a welcomed second home to many who after many changes, departures, and as it turns out, deaths, would change the lives of so many including Everal, myself and so many others til this day.

One of the many accomplishments Ev reached at S&A was that within ten years, and as I was heading out to begin my own business, Ev actually co-supervised the W.P. department and became one of the lead operators of the department, praised by many lawyers, legal assistants and staff.

Ev and I were part of the unofficial S&A Friends Social Group that would organize and plan "after work" and weekend bashes and trips throughout the years.  It became so popular that with the assistance of four others, we were constantly planning parties and retreats for any and all reasons.  Thus we identified ourselves as the "Six-Pack" (We weren't Brats, but we did enjoy our social drinking, thus "6-pack").    For purposes of knowing the six-pack, I will identify them as Nora, Danie, Miggles, Ev, Tony and Sat.  Honestly speaking I can name over 20+ names who joined us in planning and partying til the wee hours of the night).  Unfortunately, I do not have their permission to print their names, but the pictures speak for themselves.

Prior to Ev's passing, at the wedding of Migna to Pete for which Danie, Nora, Ev and I and a host of friends and family members attended in Orlando, Florida - Ev presented to us a Powerpoint presentation entitled "Through the Years, A dedication to Friendship, Family and Love" that he created (he was very creative!).

I have placed the powerpoint presentation and a Windows Media Player version for your viewing.    Due to the size of each, I recommend you download and save the Powerpoint version (with sound) and view online the Windows Media Player version (without sound).

Everal:  Rest In Peace.  You will never be forgotten.  Thank you for being a friend!
